The Nasim lab seeks to develop bioengineered multicellular models of the heart and blood vessels and uncover biomechanical and cell signaling mechanisms driving developmental and acquired cardiovascular diseases, with the goal of discovering therapeutic targets and early interventions for better patient outcomes.
